Program on Entrepreneurship Development and Soft skills
A one-day workshop on “Entrepreneurship Development and Soft skills” was organised by Bandari Srinivas Institute of Technology under its Training & Placement Cell. The programme inaugurated on February 17th ,2020Monday and conducted by Dr. N. Manoharan, the trainer in soft skills,stress/health Management faculty and motivator.
The Principal Dr.Sridhara Reddy advised the students to understand the concept and put their ideas infront of the world. The adjustability according to situation will lead towards successful path, he added.
Dr. N. Manoharan trained the students in soft skills to face interviews in future and succeed. He made students to realizethe importance of specified, manageable, achievable, realistic, concentrate able team work which fetches success in the career. By conducting activities and assigning few tasks made the students to inculcate the alertness, concentrationin listening & implementing them practically to complete the task within stipulated time. A huge number of students (300 plus) participated in this workshop and expressed that they have learnt new things which are useful for their career development.
The Chairman Shri Bandari Srinivas expressed his encouragement of conducting these activities to students to reach their goals.
The Secretary Bandari Venkatesh always extended his hands to pay a good platform to conduct the workshops like this in future also.
Program On DEET
On 17/02/2020, Bandari Srinivas Institute of Technology, conducted a program on Digital Employment Exchange for Telangana in the morning session under Training and Placement Cell.
The Principal Dr.Sridhara Reddy advised the students to enrol in DEET for getting job alerts.
DEET initiative connects employers and job seekers on an app powered by artificial intelligence.DEET is a free application that can be downloaded on Google Play Store,aims to give more opportunities to job seekers while broadening the horizons of employers by giving them ample options to choose.
The DEET team members Mr. Gowtham and Ms. Vani explained the importanceof the app.DEET team made students to register in the app as it is useful to get appropriate job alerts, notifications and also for internships for every individual’s qualifications. Once the applicant enrols on the app,depending on their profile,qualifications,location and other parameters, they will get relevant results that match the requirement. The applicants will be alerted about job opportunities, notifications, recruitment drives and walk-in interviews around them said by the DEET team.
The BSIT students enrolled as per the instructions and their in enable to apply for a job.The students expressed their happiness for an excellent platform for job seekers implemented by the government. And conveyed their heartfelt thanks to the Management, Principal, Training & Placement cell to organise the program.
The Chairman Shri Srinivas garu, Secretary Shri Bandari Venkateshgaru appreciated the DEET team and advised the students to grab job opportunities through DEET to build up great career ahead.
RECENT TRAINING ACTIVITY:
We have conducted a training program by MAHINDRA PRIDE SCHOOL a corporate Training Institute. this program benefited to all students of diploma and B.Tech from 19th Jan 2018 to 5th Feb 2018. Nearly 200 students got trained for this entire session. They have provided excellent trainers & they have taken care about uniqueness, communication skills, presentation skills, values and behavior, gender sensitization, GD’s, JAM sessions, resume writing skills and how to crack the interviews.
